How to customise your off road wheels
We have some crazy tyre customisation options here at Ben Buckler Boards and we wanted to walk you through them.
So you want to customise your off road e skate with some new off road wheels?
The first step of this process would be to choose the size of your tyre!
ALL TERRAIN TYRES 6"
Tired of riding on beaten paths and rough roads yet want an All Terrain wheel that is not too large in size? Then the Evolve 6” (150m) tyres are for you!
The Evolve 6” wheel is best for poor quality roads and footpaths and small amounts of grass areas. It has slightly less torque than the 7" tyres.
ALL TERRAIN STREET TYRES 7"
All terrain tyres designed specifically for use with electric skateboards, made by Evolve. Strong sidewalls mean more tire strength at lower pressures. Thick and hard compound rubber make them last longer than ever before. Plus a tread pattern that will give you a smooth ride no matter what path you choose! Compatible with the Evolve 7” Hubs!
ALL TERRAIN OFF ROAD DIRT TYRES 7”
Evolve’s off road tyres for electric skateboards are awesome and they have now made an off road tyre version specifically for use for the rougher all terrain surfaces! Strong sidewalls mean more tyre strength at lower pressures. They’ve used a thick and hard compound rubber to make them last longer than ever before and a tread pattern giving you better traction for those loose terrain surfaces like dirt and grass! These tyres are compatible with the Evolve 7” Hubs and come in black or blue colours.
MBS ROADIE 8" TYRE
Are you a pavement ripper that is tired of shredding rubber when you should be shredding hills? Or are you a skate park rider looking for a bit more speed through the flats. Either way, you'll love the new MBS Roadie tyres. Don't go on tour without them!
These 8" tyres fit the Evolve 7" hubs.
MBS T3 TYRE 8" KNOBBY
The design of the T3 tyre builds upon the tried and true performance of the T1 (original model) by using similar tread elements in new ways. The result is a great new tread with increased durability and multi-terrain functionality. Split Center Bead modeled on traditional T1 bead. This design element combined with a flatter profile puts more rubber on the ground. This increases overall durability as well as traction on pavement. Center Channel helps to channel water in wet conditions. T3 knobs provide excellent grip in soft terrain such as loose dirt and wet grass, or on harder terrain with low tire pressure.
MBS TYRE 9" KNOBBY
The 9" MBS T2 tire is the obvious choice for riders wanting a little extra clearance to tackle the obstacles that lay in their path. Made with a super tough rubber compound for unmatched durability. ONLY fits MBS Trispoke and FiveStar hubs. Our largest in stock!
