The Velvet Sun is a classic design with a modern twist.
Traditional style, with functional modern features is exactly what the Velvet Sun represents. A pulled in front half, with a defined concave, rolled mid section and wider rear end perfectly embody a more traditional log. Throw in some modern performance features such as hard edges in the tail and a deep single concave for extra squirt and you have a harmonious mix that creates an amazing unique board.
All the design features in this board enable it to be surfed well on the nose, but still drop, climb, redirect and get around more critical sections when they appear, giving you a board that can be surfed to its full potential in just about anything.
