Introducing a new addition to Pando Moto base layer selection – SHELL WW BLACK 02. Upgraded and even better version of our best-selling SHELL WW BLACK armoured women bodysuit. Made from the extremely durable power-stretch BALISTEX® fabric, which is 15 times stronger than steel, the Shell WW Black 02 provides a single-layer solution that ensures unmatched durability and high abrasion resistance.
Fully CE approved – performance level AA in accordance with the EN 17092-3:2020 standard. This means in the event of an accident this bodysuit will protect you up to 35 meters or 4 sec sliding distance.
Thanks to the upgraded crotch closure with low profile snap system (adjustable to two heights), bodysuit will perfectly fit for both short and regular-fit body types. We’ve also eliminated the vertical seam on the sleeves, significantly improving the stability of the shoulder and elbow armour. Additionally, a visible seam on the back has been added to provide better back armour stability, while the curve on the hips has been reduced for a sleeker fit with low-waist jeans.
Equipped with SAS-TEC TripleFlex CE level 1 elbow and shoulder armour which is extremely flexible and lightweight. For those seeking even more protection, the optional QUATROFLEX BACK CE level 2 lightweight back armour can be purchased separately. When this first arrived, I was a bit nervous. For reference, I’m 165cm and approximately 75kg. I bought the medium after watching a review on YouTube. I probably could have gone up to a large but after three wears, this base layer has continue to grow on me. At first, it was very tight and I couldn’t get the elbow armour to cover my elbows but now everything sits where it needs to. I find the base layer compressive but not restrictive like I did at first. It’s very easy to ride in and I love that I feel protected but light. I wear a standard puffer on top and find I’m always sitting at the right temperature. The only disadvantage is the neck line but I understand that there needs to be a wider opening to get yourself into the bodysuit. It’s a great piece of protecting clothing and I’m glad I’ve bought this!
