Upgrade Your Bike or Moped Rack for SUP Adventures!
Our SUP Bar Sets are an upgraded version of the cradles found on our standard bicycle and surfboard moped racks. With an increased cradle interior width of 6" (up from 3.8"), they easily accommodate thicker boards, including inflatable SUPs. These versatile bars can also carry two lighter boards or other bulky items.
Note: This is not a complete rack but an upgrade to our full rack sets. For a detailed dimension comparison, see the instruction sheet.
Important Notes for SUP Transport:
- Weight Limit: Suitable for boards up to 25 lbs. Heavier boards may affect riding stability and exceed bar capacity.
- Handlebar Clearance: Wide SUPs need sufficient space under high-rise cruiser handlebars.
- Standard Cradle Width: The original racks have a clearance of under 4 inches, while many SUPs are 4–5 inches wide or thicker.
- For Inflatable SUPs: These boards, typically around 6 inches thick, work best with our Replacement Lower Bars designed for extra clearance.
