How do the repayments work?

Repayments are automatically deducted from the payment method you specified when you opened the account. You can modify your payment method and frequency of instalments at any time as long as you meet the minimum monthly repayments. Choose which works the best for you.

What are the fees?

Zip Pay charges a monthly account fee of $7.95, which will be waived if you pay your statement closing balance in full by the due date. Similarly, Zip Money has a monthly account fee of $7.95, which is waived if you have no outstanding balances.

How do refunds work?

If you return goods to a store and they agree to a refund, the agreed-upon refund amount will be paid to your Zip account. The cash will subsequently be applied to your outstanding debt or, depending on the size of the return, your account may be placed in credit.

Is ZIP a buy now pay later system like Afterpay, Klarna, Humm and Latitude?

That's right! But Zip, on the other hand, allows you to shop almost anywhere, both online and in-store. We allow you to customise your payments schedule to fit your needs, whether weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. When you use the Zip app, you can also pay your bills, manage your subscriptions, buy gift cards, and earn incentives.

How much is interest after the interest-free period?

After the interest-free period expires, interest will be charged at the normal variable rate of 21.9% per annum.
